Sidney's parents divorced years ago, and her mom, her, and her brother Justin moved to Illinois to be close to her grandmother.  They learned of Victory Church just a short while before I moved here, and they have been going ever since.  That is how I met Sidney!!!!

 

We knew each other for nearly a year before we even became friends.  We didn't really talk to each other before we became friends.  When we did start hanging out, I realized that she was the best friend I had ever had...the only friend.  I could not lose a friend like that.

 

It had come up a few times in conversations about feelings between us.  We both knew that we liked each other, but did not know if it would work out.  On Thursday, April 22, 2005, we were chatting on the computer.  I asked her.  She said yes!!!  We have been together ever since.

 

We love each other so much.  We have made mistakes with our relationship in the past...big mistakes.  However, we both realize how stupid we were, and we know that we were away from God then.  Now, we are much closer to God and we put Him first -- before our relationship.  We still love each other so much.  We know we will be together forever!
